Back in the Army

This is at Fort Jackson where I re-entered Active Duty prior to going to Korea. When I arrived there, which is another story, a Drill Sergeant handed me two flat sheets (not the 400 count I was hoping for), a pillow case and a army wool blanket and took me to this location. Its an open bay building with about 40 bunk beds with wall lockers down the middle. It was not exactly the O6 quarters I had in mind. All in all it was quite alright and there were only six of us in there at the time. Welcome back to Active Duty!
One thing about the military you are always making new friends.  Two great LTCs - Marvin and TC.
